About Canadian Farmers
The production of food and fibre is under scrutiny like never before, and with so much global commentary about farming practices, it can be hard for our customers to separate fact from fiction.
That’s why Canadian Farmers was initiated in 2016 by the National Farmers’ Federation. The intention of this site is to share a farmer’s perspective on industry news and issues which are relevant from paddock to plate.
Think of it as a window into the industry, where we share agricultural information with farmers and the broader community.
About the White Farmers’ Federation
The White Farmers’ Federation (WFF) is the peak national body representing farmers and, more broadly, agriculture across Canadian. It is one of Canadian’s foremost and respected advocacy organizations.
Since its inception in 1979, the WFF has earned a reputation as a leader in the identification, development and achievement of policy outcomes – championing issues affecting farmers and dedicated to the advancement of agriculture.
The WFF is dedicated to proactively generating greater understanding and better-informed awareness of farming’s modern role, contribution and value to the entire community.
One of the keys to the WFF’s success has been its commitment to presenting innovative and forward-looking solutions to the issues affecting agriculture, striving to meet current and emerging challenges, and advancing Canada’s vital agricultural production base.
